The food was amazing! My wife and I appreciated the quality of the food, especially for the price. The smoked meatloaf was outstanding! We had Travis as our server, and not only did he deliver quality service, Travis made the entire meal better with his care and wit. We are already talking about our next trip down to Henderson to eat there!

Second time eating here, and both experiences were wonderful. The food and service were great. This time I got the smoked meatloaf and the wife got chicken and waffles which we both loved. Appetizer, 2 entrees, soda for me cocktail for the wife came out to be 60, 75 including tip. I found that to be reasonable considering the quality of food and service! We will definitely be back!

Came across the bridge to try this place. Service, food and atmosphere were top tier. Food wait time was a bit long, but it was a packed house. I had the salmon, mashed potatoes and broccoli casserole. Casserole was not to my liking, but other than that the food was great. My date had the Catfish with red beans and rice will be back to try the shrimp and grits!! Oh and my drinkkks was not on the menu but requested by our waitress. I give this place 7/10

We had a delectable meal at Hometown Roots last night! I had the shrimp civeche with their homemade chips. The shrimp dish was so refreshing and I loved the herbs added to it. Our server was the BEST! He was a jolly guy with a beaming personality and kept our drinks filled, and attended to our every need! I wish I had asked him his name. (We told him about a different restaurant and the bad experience we had there) My husband and I took the key lime dessert home. It was a very special dessert! I’ve never had any key lime dessert that was this great! The attention to detail on the dessert was impressive. Even the mint leaf had edible gold on it. Simply amazing!! Hometown Roots, you have it all!!

5 stars all the way around!!!! From service to food to overall experience! I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting farm to fresh type meals. As far as service goes ask for Austin. He definitely knows how to take care of a table! I’ve never had better service anywhere else. When I say amazing I mean absolutely freaking amazing. Now on to the good part the food. Definitely can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. From appetizers to entrees. It’s all good. We will most certainly be back again and again!

Gabriella provided the best customer service of any server we have had in quite some time. The food here is just awesome. They source many of their items locally and have created many great recipes. The restaurant runs like a well oiled machine and everyone was great. The full bar had a huge selection of everything from wine to bourbon. This place is very clean and well kept including their unique bathrooms. It is very easy to find using Google Maps with plenty of street parking.

If you are anywhere near this restaurant make it a priority to stop and eat. It was difficult picking from their menu but I settled on a steak bowl and WOW!! Each bite was filled with amazing flavor. I wish I lived closer so I could work my way thru the menu. Our server was Isabella and she was amazing. Greated us and was pleasant to work with. She checked on us throughout our meal and had drink refills before we were dry. The owner Casey came to our table to see how our meal was and if we needed anything else. Haven't seen this for awhile. This atmosphere here is inviting and relaxing. When I turned to leave I was surprised the restaurant was full.

We dined here for a conference dinner with about 30 people. The owner gave us a rundown of the restaurant’s style and was super personable. We had about two servers taking care of our entire party and they knocked it out of the ballpark! Orders were timely, service was exceptional, food was to die for, and atmosphere was festive and cozy. Our server, Courtney, was top notch and deserves a shoutout for her amazing personality and service.
